Muslim Centre for Justice and Law (MCJL) contributes to enhanced access to justice through information, Communication Technology (ICT) with support from Democratic Governance Facility (DGF).

One of the objectives of these innovations is to improve access to justice through the use of ICT as an innovative mode of applications that the public can use to access basic information on Islamic Family Law, Criminal Law, rights of inmates and an abridged version of important instruments of the law, jurisdiction of courts and other related information.

The application has a simple user friendly layout that runs on an android platform and facilitates easy navigation of the interface with readable font sizes as well as web-safe eye colours so that visitors and users can read the content easily.

eLaw Uganda Android App

You can download our android app that is rich with legal information as and when you need it. The app works both online and offline so that even when you aren’t connected to the internet, you can still use it. The mobile application dubbed ‘elaw Uganda’ can be downloaded from google play store free of charge. ‘elaw Uganda’ is user friendly and includes a search module; this aids the user to look up information without necessarily clicking on categories or sections.
