This component promotes Good Governance, Human Rights, Peace and stability in Uganda

Through the use of the Rule of Law. Under the component, MCJL has and continues to;

• Facilitate dialogue between two legal traditions: human rights law and Islamic law.
• Draw attention to the realization of women’s rights in Muslim communities
• Promote Human Rights education and training in Muslim theological institutions and community based organizations.
• Facilitate information-sharing and networking among strategic actors, through provision of tools such as the database and the resource collection on human rights and law
